Triangle Basics Math Stations – High School Geometry Stations

Triangle Basics Stations is a set of six stations for high school geometry. The topics are classifying triangles, triangle angle sum, exterior angle theorem, ordering sides and angles, triangle existence, and determining the range of the third side.

Stations included

2. Using Distance Formula for Side Lengths
3. Applying Triangle Angle Sum and Exterior Angle Theorems
4. Ordering Triangle Sides and Angles
5. Determining Triangle Existence
6. Finding the Range for a Triangle’s Third Side

How it works

Students rotate through the stations in small groups and solve the problems at each one together. The full rotation takes 30 to 45 minutes. Run it as classwork, in a review session, or as a formative assessment.
