Surveys and Samples Middle School Math Project / Project Based Learning Activity

In this surveys and samples project, middle school students select a topic, develop a survey, and conduct random sampling from a population they choose. From there the project guides them through recording the data, analyzing it with graphical representations, and making conclusions.

It puts statistics to a real-world use, and students build critical thinking and statistical skills as they go.
