Number and Shape Patterns Stations – 4th Grade Math Centers Activity

Four stations take 4th graders through number and shape patterns. Students solve number sequences, shape patterns and mixed pattern challenges to earn clues, then solve a final mystery puzzle.

How it works

Students work together at the stations, which calls for teamwork and critical thinking and builds problem solving, pattern recognition and mathematical reasoning. The final puzzle is the self-check, because students verify their own solutions through it.

There is no prep beyond printing and setting up the stations. Run it as centers, with small groups, or as a whole-class activity.
