Indirect Proofs Ordering and Matching Geometry Activity

High school geometry students practice indirect proofs by matching and ordering. They identify assumptions, match logical statements, and sequence the steps to complete indirect proofs.

How it works

Students do two kinds of work:

• Matching: they pair assumptions with their logical counterparts to understand how indirect proofs are structured.
• Ordering: they sequence logical statements, step by step, to construct a complete indirect proof.

It is suitable for warm-ups, classwork, homework or independent practice. Answer keys are included for quick grading.
