Data Displays and Measures of Center 6th Grade Math Intervention Unit

This 6th grade math intervention unit gives students extra practice with data displays and measures of center. It is editable, so you can modify the questions and notes to fit your needs, and it aligns with my 6th Grade Data Curriculum Unit.

The worksheets are extra practice resources. They are not meant to be used for full class lessons, although they could be if that is your preference.

What’s included

Each skill comes with these resources:

• Tracking sheet: record the dates and scores for each activity, as well as for the entire unit.
• Pre and post assessments: a simple pre and post assessment is included. The assessments are also available in Google Forms.
• Review sheet: a quick review, a student input section, and problems intended to be used as guided practice.
• Practice worksheet: use as independent or partner practice.
• Error analysis: each problem is solved incorrectly. Students identify the error(s) and then solve correctly.

Small group planning sheets are also included.

How to use it

Keep the unit printed in a binder in your classroom. Intervention teachers, assistants or volunteers can grab it and work with a small group of students on a set of skills you designate. Worksheets can be completed as printed sheets, or placed in sheet protectors and given to students as reusable dry-erase practice.
