Converting Fractions, Decimals and Percents Pairs Check / Math Coloring Activity

This cooperative learning middle school math activity puts a coloring page together with a pairs self-checking routine. Students practice converting among fractions, decimals and percents, then use their coloring pages to check their answers with a student who has the other half of the page.

How it works

1. Some students are given “Page A” and others are given “Page B.”
2. Each student completes their page, both the solving and the coloring.
3. They find someone who has the opposite page, fold their papers in half and match up their coloring page with their partner’s.
4. If both students are correct, the two coloring pages line up.

Each page has different questions, but they lead to the same answer and the same color.

• One with only 6 problems
• One with 10 problems (the 6 from the first version, plus four more)
