Area and Perimeter of Similar Figures Practice – Geometry Partner Activity

Students match answers across two sets in this partner activity for high school geometry on the area and perimeter of similar figures. The task strengthens understanding of scale factors, similarity, area, and perimeter, and helps students visualize how linear, area, and perimeter relationships change between similar figures.

How it works

Students solve the problems independently (or in pairs), then connect matching answers between the sets. That makes the activity a built-in self-check, and the partner work encourages accuracy, discussion, and reasoning.

It is low-prep. Print and go. Good spots for it are warm-ups, review, sub plans, and test prep.
