In this Algebra 1 end-of-year math project, students design and create their own math review board game based on key Algebra 1 skills. They choose a topic, plan their game, write their own math problems, create an answer key, and then play each other’s games.

The project works well for the last weeks of school or the time after state testing, when you want students reviewing math without starting new material. It typically takes about one week to create the games and several days to play them.
