4th Grade Math Bullet Notes – Guided Math Notes

Bullet Notes are a looser kind of 4th grade math notes. Students organize their thoughts in a way that makes sense to them: they can circle, underline, bullet, color or doodle. The pages give students less structure than my traditional guided notes and are not as busy as doodle-style notes.

What’s included

• 52 different 4th grade math skills, each in a slightly structured form and a completely blank form
• Organization pages such as a table of contents, calendar planning pages and goal setting
• An editable template, so you can structure your own notes and calendar pages
• Instructional video links that help you customize either the template or the PDF itself
• A Google Slides version

You can add, delete, duplicate and move pages to fit your students.

Good to know

• Who these notes suit: Honestly, not all students. Some students need structure and need traditional guided notes. These are good for students who are able to take notes without so much structure.
• Sample pages: There are sample pages with answers, and sample problems when applicable. Please do not make your students think their notes have to look like the sample, and you shouldn’t think that either. Creativity and personality need to come into play.
• Editing: Yes and no. The PDF is not editable. A PowerPoint file is included that contains all of the skill pages and blank student organization pages, so you can make them your own.
• Software: PowerPoint must be installed to use the editable template.
• Bundles: These notes are not included in any bundle.
