In reply to <a href="https://beyondtheworksheet.com/6-habits-of-effective-interventionists/#comment-7365">Amy</a>.

Hi there Amy. I don't think I have a "misconception as to the full scope of an interventionist" at all. I think, as you said, the term interventionist is quite broad. Obviously for your situation - the term means something quite different and "interventionist" is your primary role. This post was geared towards those who are interventionists before they are anything else. Thank you for your insight. Lindsay

While I appreciate your thoughts and suggestions, I think you may have a misconception as to the full scope of an interventionist. I am a 7th grade resource replacement classroom teacher. My math class consists of 11 students working at anywhere between 6-8, sometimes 10 different levels. While I am expected to follow the common standards, my students struggle with the foundational concepts within concepts, making me the interventionist at multiple levels, at one time, in one setting. Not as easy to follow a set of rules as you would think. At times, each station needs instruction at the same time. The term "intervention" is quite broad. Just wanted to share. Thank you, for sharing your knowledge and experience.
Best regards,
Amy Sandler
